Mother's teach their daughters how to apply makeup
Whether by accident or on purpose, a mother passes onto her daughter, beauty regimes and habits. What are the habits you are teaching your daughter when it comes to cosmetics?
/Cosmetics News Articles/ - GOLDEN VALLEY, AZ, May 09, 2007 - The old saying, an apple never falls far from the tree is true about moms and daughters when it comes to makeup.
I remember as a young girl being in the bathroom with my mom as she was getting ready to go to dinner, sitting on the toilet seat cover, I watched in awe as my mom stroked on layers of bright blue eyeshadow, deep black liner and coat after coat of mascara.
I got my love of makeup from my mom. The tables have turned now that she is in her 60's, her makeup style is different, and it is the other way around, she watches me do a clients makeup, or my own and she learns from my makeup artist training.
This Mother's day, please consider making memories with your mom in a personal coaching appointment or spa event. This doesn't mean go to a high end pricey spa, it can be as simple as getting some new product launched for the spring in the drugstore, brining it home and playing together with the new color and texture.
I encourage you to get together with Mom, make her feel special and share a new memory and create a new look for this time in your lives.
